Artist Bio:

Born: July 20, 1981 in Lewiston, Idaho.

Lacey currently resides in Edmond, Oklahoma with her  husband (who is in the USAF) and 3 children (ages 5 , 3, and 1 month).   As well as being an artist, she is a homemaker. Lacey works from a home studio.  While she has taken some general art courses, she is  a self-taught painter.   “I love experimenting with texture and adding different non-paint elements to my pieces. Many pieces that start out as paintings, end up as mixed media ”   Her pieces tend  range from mixed media  mostly with acrylic to more simple charcoal.  Most of the work is relatively small, the largest being  24”x 48” and the smallest 3”x3”.

In Lacey’s free time, she enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, knitting, reading, solving puzzles, playing games, and researching things that she is curious about.  Don’t be surprised to see these things present in her art, they have a tendency to cross over and pop in unexpectedly.
