Why “Abstract Infusion”?

My work is born of abstract thought, concepts, daydreams, and theories which are often hard to comprehend, even for myself. Without explanation the viewer is left to infuse their own narratives and personal content on a piece to make it personal to them, maybe in a very different way than each piece is personal to me.  Each piece is infused with my abstract ponderings and steeped in my love of handmade objects.  To me, as an artist, the act of creating is like an infusion; the creative act a balm on my soul.
